Item: This is a multi-use double sided brass compact with a genuine mother of pearl parquet top in a checkerboard pattern. Side one has a lipstick case on a hinge that looks like it was never used and might make a nice pill box if you wanted to use it that way instead. On the same side there is a powder compartment with its original fitted puff but no signs of it ever containing powder. Also on a hinge is a money clip and there is a beveled mirror in the top. Side two is a cigarette case with a spring loaded pressure arm to keep them secure.
