Item: This is a wonderful vintage Christian Dior compact. It has a great Art Deco design with rhinestone accents inspired by the styles of the 1920s. It opens up to reveal a beveled mirror in the top which is still in very good condition showing some wear to the silvering under the bevel. The powder compartment lid has a cartouche that says Christian Dior, Paris and below that Made In Switzerland. The lid is spring loaded and pops up with the touch of the side latch. It still has the original powder screen and velveteen powder puff. Overall this is in very good condition showing light wear consistent with age. It comes with a well worn felt and satin pouch that seems to have kept the compact from being damaged over the years and still has the faint printing Christian Dior in the upper right hand corner.
