Item: This is a great Victorian gold filled book locket / fob made circa 1885. There are two frames inside with nice detailing in the corners and tiny period photos under glassine windows. Despite a tiny pin to keep the top and bottom centered this doesn't snap closed. It stays open or closed because of the tightness of the hinge. This is in very good condition showing wear and patina consistent with age. The chain is a vintage replacement and is a bit yellower than the locket.
