This is a handmade sterling silver ring with turquiose, coral and black onyx inlay.
Jewelry of this nature is often known as Railroad Jewelry, Fred Harvey era and Old Pawn to name a few. It was sold in whistlestop stores and roadside stands starting as early as the late 19th century and these terms usually apply to Native American style jewelry made in the 1940's and prior. There was a big resurgence of interest in this type of jewelry in the 1960's and 1970's as well.
