Item: This is an antique coin purse made in the 1890's. The lid is impressed with an Art Nouveau design of a winged angel kissing a woman in the sea. Possibly a depiction of Cupid and Psyche from ancient tradition. The pouch is woven with beads that look like they are metal. There are no missing beads and this is in very good condition but the silver plating has worn through to the brass in a few places.
