This is an Art Deco ash tray made circa 1940 for the M.S. Oranje Oceanliner. A Dutch ship with a storied history originally built in 1939 as a passenger liner, she was repurposed as a hospital ship during World War II and converted back to a cruise liner post war. This has Finnish hallmarks on the reverse. It was heavily tarnished but I cleaned it up with some silver polish to reveal that it's in very good condition with just light patina and wear consistent with age.
