Item: This is an antique ink well cast in pot metal in the shape of a portly face wearing a hood. It still has it's original brass liner which allows the lid to rest loosely on the top.

Signature: Unsigned

Measurements: 2 1/4" w x 3" h x 2 1/2" d

Condition: 8 - Good, there is a crack in the metal that likely happened in the casting between the forehead and the hood extending into the forehead and looks a bit like a wrinkle above the brow. The lid has some rust inside but overall this is in good condition with showing wear and patina consistent with age.
