This is a great bakelite brooch made circa 1940. Bunches of fruit brooches were popular at this time and the majority, like this one, were cherries. The ten cherries are suspended by strings that were originally covered in red celluloid tubing which has mostly worn off over the years.

Condition: 8 - Good, as with most bakelite fruit brooches the stems have lost much of their celluloid coating.
