This is a great brooch made by Hattie Carnegie in the 1950s. It's from a collection called Primitives On Parade. The goat's horns are set loosely which gives the brooch a little movement when worn. The face is a faux ivory thermoset plastic, the horns are faux lapis thermoset, there are faux coral glass beads and glass rhinestones.

Like many of her contemporaries fashion designer Hattie Carnegie began producing jewelry to compliment her clothing line in 1939 and jewelry that bears her name was produced until 1976.
