Item: This is an antique brooch with Art Nouveau styling made circa 1900. The belt buckle motif - a symbol of fidelity - was commonly used in Victorian and Edwardian jewelry. This brooch has a bird on either side and a classic Art Nouveau flora-form design with a green Peking glass cabochon. It uses a Victorian style "C" clasp and is in Excellent condition.
