This is a fabulous brooch made in the 1950's by Vendome. This incorporates blue art glass pieces with sparkly gold fleck, a faux pearls and gold chain dangles. The Vendome name was first used in 1944 and is known to collectors for beautiful bead work and rhinestone pieces. Vendome’s parent company Coro started using this name for their higher end jewelry and by the late 1950’s the Vendome brand had a full line of superb jewelry. Vendome ceased production in 1979.
