In the early 1930s the Coro jewelry company patented their Duette. It is a clever invention that allows a brooch to be separated and used as a pair of dress or shoe clips. Many of these brooch / clips, like the one seen here, are classic Art Deco designs. Photographing rhinestones can be problematic and this piece is in much better condition than it looks in the pictures.
