Item: This is a wonderful antique 14K locket made circa 1885. It has beautiful engraving on all sides with a belt buckle on the front and Greek key patterning on the back. The body of the locket has been tested and holds at 14K gold. The chain is a later high quality gold filled replacement. There are frames on both sides of the diamond shaped center piece but there is only one glass cover. This locket is very unusual and is the only one like it I've ever seen. It was purchased in London but has no identifiable markings that I can find.

Condition: 8 - Very good, minor wear and patina consistent with age. The chain is a vintage replacement.
