Item: 1950's / early 60's purple geometric print dress made by R & K Originals - one of the more prolific dress makers of the era. The fabric is feather light like silk but is more probably an acetate. This features a raglan half sleeve and a skirt that hits just below the knee. It could be worn with a crinoline to make the skirt appear fuller. The waist measures 26" which translates to a modern true size 6. Across the chest this measures 19 1/2" from underarm to underarm (slightly deceiving measurement due to the cut) , 42" from the shoulder to the hem, 15" shoulder to waist, and the length from waist to hem is 27". Condition is excellent with no stains or holes and no signs of ever being worn.
