Item: This is an unused Whiting and Davis mesh wallet in it's original box. This was made some time in the late 1930s. It measures 6 3/4" X 4". The mesh is a polished gold tone metal and the interior is a black moire taffeta. Whiting and Davis has a long history of manufacturing high quality mesh bags and has been in business since 1876. This is in it's original art deco box with the words "Gifts that last" on the end which is particularly true with this as it doesn't appear to have been used at all and is in like new condition.
