Item: This is a fantastic raspberry pink feather hat by Sally Victor made circa 1960. This retains its original price tag and looks like it was never worn. In the 1930s Sally Victor founded her millenary business which grew to be a very important and respected hat company. Sally closed her business in the mid 1960s and her work is highly collectible today. Her best known hats are from a collection she designed inspired by the works of famous artists including Mondrian which is referenced in the YSL Museum in Paris. The original price of this hat was $59.95 which according the the CPI Calculator amounts to over $500.00 in today's money!
